Ingredients:
- 300g of wood apple pulp
- 100g of jaggery
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
- 150g of lentils
- 50g of rice flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 500ml of water
- 3 tablespoons of oil
Kitchen Tools Needed:

- frying pan

- spatula
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine the wood apple pulp, jaggery, salt, cumin powder, and red chili powder. Blend until smooth to create the chutney.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the lentils, rice flour, turmeric powder, and water. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
- Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of lentil batter into the pan and spread it out to form a pancake.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Repeat the process until all the batter is used, adding more oil as needed.
- Serve the lentil pancakes warm with the wood apple chutney on the side.
