Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 4 cups of water or milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (e.g., almonds or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup of fresh fruits (e.g., berries or sliced bananas)

  • Saucepan
  • Measuring cups
  • Spoon
  • Serving bowls

Instructions:

  • In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water or milk to a boil.
  • Once boiling, stir in 2 cups of rolled oats and reduce the heat to a simmer.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup, stirring well to combine.
  • Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and mix thoroughly.
