Dried Fruit Medley Bars

Ingredients:

  • 200g of mixed dried fruits (apricots, figs, cranberries)
  • 100g of rolled oats
  • 100g of almond butter
  • 50g of honey
  • 50g of chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts)
  • 30g of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking tray
  • Oven
  • Parchment paper
  • Spatula

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed dried fruits, rolled oats, chopped nuts, and chia seeds.
  • In a saucepan, gently heat the almond butter, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until melted and well combined.
  • Pour the almond butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated.
  • Transfer the mixture into the lined baking tray, pressing it down firmly to create an even layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the tray before cutting into bars.
